Saint John's Day

Each year we celebrate Saint John’s Day with our closest alumni and friends, our leadership benefactors.

In addition to our donor recognition program, we mark the occasion with the presentation of the Colman J. Barry Award for Distinguished Contributions to Religion and Society. We also take this opportunity to showcase a highlight of the year, typically featuring the entertainment of an outstanding student, alumnus, or member of the faculty or staff.

Honor Roll of Donors

Donor Recognition

Saint John’s University has established several honorary giving societies to recognize individuals and organizations for their loyal commitment and high level support.

In recognition of their generous contributions, donors gain membership in three giving societies based on their cumulative lifetime giving, deferred giving and annual giving.

Those who have made cumulative lifetime gifts exceeding $50,000 are honored in the Founders Society.

Those who have thoughtfully included Saint John’s in their estate plans are welcomed into the Benedictine Legacy Society.

Those who make an annual gift of $1,000 or more in support of the University’s unrestricted Annual Fund become members of the Fellows Society.

The following are two additional leadership Annual Giving societies:

Those who support the Hill Museum & Manuscript Library with an Annual Fund gift of $1,000 or more become members of the HMML Millennium Club.

Those who support the School of Theology•Seminary with an Annual Fund gift of $1,000 or more become members of the SOT•SEM Fellows Society.
