The Pottery

The Saint John's Pottery and its Artist in Residence, Richard Bresnahan, are a vital part of the Saint John's community.

The Pottery embodies the Benedictine values of community, hospitality and self-sufficiency as well as the University's commitment to the integration of art and life; the preservation of the environment; the linkage between work and worship; and the celebration of diverse cultures.

Moreover, it is a unique academic experience for students at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University as well as for art students from colleges around the Midwest.
