Campaign Priorities and Goals

Our mission is far-ranging and enduring: we seek to renew the fabric of our community, one generation to the next, always striving for excellence, always grounded in Benedictine tradition.

Our goal is to raise $150 million to further our Benedictine mission of education and service for the following priorities:

SAINT JOHN’S ABBEY  
Strengthen the monastic witness of Saint John’s Abbey through support of the Guest House, The Benedictine apostolates and missions and a monastic health and retirement fund $15,000,000

COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCES
Improve educational excellence at Saint John’s University and advance its standing among the nation’s premier Catholic liberal arts colleges through endowment support for student scholarship, academic programs and men’s leadership and service $105,000,000

SCHOOL OF THEOLOGY•SEMINARY
Address the leadership needs of the Church through support of lay graduate scholarships, theological education, and vocational outreach at the School of Theology•Seminary $15,000,000

HILL MUSEUM & MANUSCRIPT LIBRARY
Preserve cultural legacies through the filming, electronic access and research activities of the Hill Museum & Library as well as The Saint John’s Bible $15,000,000
