How the Medallion Program Works
The medallion program is one of the benefits of being a Saint John’s University Annual Fund Associate or a member of the Saint John's Fellows Society. Each year, Associates and Fellows may choose one medallion corresponding to a gift level equal to or below their campaign year (July 1st – June 30th) contribution. They may also select a stand or plaque appropriate to their gift level.
Who are the Saint John’s Associates and Fellows Society Members?
Associates and Fellows Society members contribute more than $2 million annually to keep Saint John’s affordable for today’s students and ensure the best of Benedictine, liberal arts education.
Associates are those alumni, parents, and friends who support the College or School of Theology Annual Fund with unrestricted gifts of $100 to $999 in a single campaign year (July 1st – June 30th).
Unrestricted Annual Fund donors of $1,000 or greater are honored as members of the Saint John’s Fellows Society.
- Gifts and paid pledges to the Annual Fund by check, credit card, Automated Gift Plan, or stock transfer are all included.
- Unrestricted matching gift dollars received by the University during the same campaign year are combined with personal gifts to determine membership level.
- Gifts to the College and gifts to the School of Theology cannot be combined.
- Membership is for the campaign year in which gifts are made.
How do I order my medallion?
Simply email johnemail@csbsju.edu or call (800) 635-7303 to order your medallion. You can also find an order form on the back of the gift remittance or pledge card that you receive with Annual Fund letters and pledge reminders.
Can I still order a medallion if I’ve already made my gift to the Annual Fund this campaign year but didn’t order my medallion at that time?
Yes. To request your medallion, please email johnemail@csbsju.edu or call 1-800-635-7303.
Will I automatically receive a medallion each year once I order my first medallion?
No. You may select the medallion you want when you make your gift each year using the medallion order form on the back of your pledge or remittance card. If you do not wish to receive a medallion, simply leave the order form blank.
What do I do when I already have the medallion that corresponds with my gift level?
You may select a medallion from any of the lower gift levels until you are ready to move up to the next higher level.
