Fellows Society
The Saint John’s Fellows Society is a distinguished group of alumni, parents and friends who set the pace with an annual gift of $1,000 or more.
This leadership giving began in 1971, when sixty-four people who believed deeply in the educational mission of Saint John’s University each stepped forward with a gift of $1,000. Today, this giving community has grown to over 720 benefactors.
Why is the Fellows Society so important?
It is the lifeblood of the Saint John’s University Annual Fund.
Annual Fund dollars are used immediately to enhance the one of a kind Johnnie experience. The Johnnie experience is far more than four years in a classroom. It’s about preparing young men to lead, serve and shape our world for the better.
Thanks in large part to the Fellows, the Annual Fund is one of the primary ways we fund this unique student experience.
Fellows’ philanthropy accounts for more than 60 percent of all Annual Fund support. Their generosity enables Saint John’s to make a substantial and sustained investment in our students.
