Dean's Associate Medallions

I.  Sexton Commons – Gifts of $100-$149

(Rafferty Rafferty Tollefson Architects, 1992-93)  The student center for the University is named in honor of Frank and Esther Sexton.  It contains the bookstore, the Pepsico Dining Hall, Brother Willie’s Pub, meeting rooms, lounges, and the Office of Campus Life.

II.  Beach House – Gifts of $150-$199

(Angelo Zankl OSB, 1923)  Part of the monastic enclosure, the Beach House was built by monks from native field stone to serve them as they balanced their daily work and prayer with recreation on Lake Sagatagan.  This classically simple building is a highlight of the scenic Lake Sagatagan shoreline.

III.  Emmaus Hall – Gifts of $200-$249

(Jackson & Associates, 1950; Grooters Leapaldt Tideman, 1993-94)  Emmaus Hall was originally built as the seminary for the Diocese of Saint Cloud.  After the renovation in 1994, the building was renamed Emmaus Hall and is now the residence hall for Saint John’s Graduate School of Theology.
