A Note From Mike Dailey '69

I decided to send this picture of our 6 grandchildren which was just taken 7-23-09 while the entire family was on vacation in Cross Lake, MN on the Whitefish Chain of Lakes. These are Sean '92 and Katie Dailey's children and Jennifer (Dailey) '95 & Dean Haugo's children. Sean and his family currently reside in Maple Grove, MN and have been there for approximately 5 yrs. but are currently in the process of a job change which will require relocation to Knoxville, TN. Jennifer and her family reside in Breckenridge, MN and have been there for going on 10 yrs. She and her husband, Dean Haugo, are both teachers in the Breckenridge school system. Dean is also the head basketball coach there and is a '95 graduate of Concordia College in Moorehead, MN. Julie and I still live in Wausau, WI. I retired at the beginning of the year and we are defintiely enjoying retirement life. Lots of trips to visit the grandkids!
The grandchilidren are: (Back row left to right) Megan Haugo (age 7); Maura Dailey (age 5 1/2); Michael Haugo (age 5). (Front row left to right) Katherine (Kate) Haugo (age 6 mo.) Shannon Dailey (age 16 mo.) and twin brother Sean Patrick Dailey (age 16 mo.).

What is a Class Committee?
Class Committee members are volunteers from each class who gather to enjoy the kind of camaraderie that only Johnnies can share. They work together to connect other classmates to Saint John’s and to each other.
So How Can I Get involved?
If you’d like to be involved with our class committee, please contact Thom Woodward, 320.363.7303. Over the coming year, our class will be working on supporting the Four Cornerstones of the Alumni Association:
- Student Recruitment: Asking classmates to refer potential students to the CSB/SJU Admission Office. (To do this, please visit the Online Referral Page.)
- Student Preparation: Preparing current Johnnies for life after graduation through job placement, internships, and mentoring.
- Alumni Connections: Enriching the lives of our 20,000 alumni and engaging them in support of the Saint John's community, as well as reconnecting them in the online community or at SJU events.
- Resource Development: Addressing the financial needs of the SJU community by supporting the Annual Fund or Capital Campaign.
We'd love to see you get involved, so please contact Thom Woodward today. The Class Committee is a great way to get reconnected to Saint John's or to strengthen the connections that you already have.
