YACs are dedicated to the engagement, interaction, support and success of Saint John’s recent graduates.
They work to create opportunities for young alumni to socialize, network, volunteer, and support Saint John’s.

What are the behavorial characteristics of YACs?
Through careful phrenological analysis of a wide variety of YACs, we were able to pinpoint four distinct behaviors of Saint John’s young alums.

YACs want to foster the great Johnnie and Bennie connections that are made throughout college years. This is a light-hearted group that focuses on having a good time and reminiscing about our college days.

2. YACs have a dedication to service
Together with CSB, YACs focus on the Benedictine value of Stewardship. Through service and volunteerism we build fellowship, recreation and networking among young alumni.

3. YACs have a keen sense of career development
YACs strive to give young Johnnies an opportunity to meet older alumni and business people who share a wide breadth of knowledge in their field.

4. YACs are often seen supporting SJU
YACs support Saint John’s through fundraising and donating time. Whether you can give a lot or a little, simply donating is the important part to show your pride.
Equally important to fundraising is donating time back to Saint John’s. When you volunteer, you show current students and other young alumni the opportunities available to them.
