CJ Lyngen C.J. Lyngen ’92 New Alumni Board President

C.J. Lyngen was named the new president of the Alumni Association at the Saint John’s Volunteer Summit on May 17. C.J. and his wife, Tricia (1992, SJU/SOT 1999), have two daughters, Leah (8), and Lucy (6), who adore Saint John’s and Saint Ben’s.

Wendt '63 to Receive Distinguished Alumnus Award

The highest honor given by the Alumni Association will be presented to Dave Wendt '63 at the Homecoming Banquet on Sept. 26. The Fr. Walter Reger Distinguished Alumnus Award recognizes one alumnus each year for his outstanding volunteer service to the Saint John's community.

It Took 11 Years to Make Him a Johnnie

Alumni Achievement Award Honorees Named

This year’s Alumni Achievement Awards will honor Roger Scherer ’58, Art Froehle ’63, Greg Scherer ’68, John Thavis ’73, Matt Stergios ’78, Bernie Dan ’83 and Rob Fairbank ’88. Award presentations will be made at the recipients’ class reunion dinners during Homecoming/Reunion weekend, Sept. 26-27.

Rochester Student Send-off Draws a Crowd

Nearly 100 people attended the Student Send-off in Rochester, Minnesota on Tuesday, August 5. During the send-off, alumni, students and parents gathered for a social and dinner at the home of Jeff '80 and Jenny Korsmo.
