Thomas Schnettler '79 Named President and Chief Operating Officer of Piper Jaffray Cos.

Thomas Schnettler ’79 was named president and chief operating officer for Piper Jaffray, according to the Forbes.com. Schnettler previously served as the company’s vice chairman and chief financial officer.

In addition to his career successes, Schnettler was named Minnesota Monthly’s Heart of the Event award winner on for 2008. This award is presented to volunteers whose dedication goes above and beyond the call of duty. Schnettler received the award for his work with the American Heart Association’s Heart & Stroke Gala: Number Thirteen.
