Former Sen. Chuck Hagel (R-Neb.) will deliver the third annual Eugene J. McCarthy lecture on Wed., Sept. 23.  The evening will also celebrate two distinguished alumni, John Brandl ’59, and Gerald Christianson ’53, who will posthumously receive the first Eugene McCarthy Distinguished Public Service Award.
