Seventeen Riders Participate in Alumni Bike Ride

The Second Annual Alumni Association bike ride took place July 30 in the beautiful Cannon River Valley. Seventeen riders enjoyed one of the most spectacular days of the summer as they rode over some of the nicest bike riding roads in the state. The ride ended with a ten mile segment on the Cannon Valley Trail.  Those who rode were James Murn '08, Tony Klein ‘84, Ryan Heining ‘91, Jack Becker ‘57, Ellen Watson, John Ditzler ‘62, Julie Ditzler, Frank Ziegler '62, Kathleen Ziegler, Mason Sorenson ‘96, Val Swentik, Dick Howard ‘72, Tom Foley, Bernie Tuohy ‘72, Jerry Sovell ‘64, Kathleen Sovell, Jim Bassett '58.  Attendance went from seven in 2007 to seventeen this year which hopefully means that we’ll keep doubling every year until we have every single Johnnie and Bennie alum joining us.
